I'm sure you've finally heard that the Amazon rainforest, the lungs of our planet, is currently on fire. It is no surprise that this is definitely having and will continue to have a major effect on humanity. It is completely disheartening to know that 3 weeks of this beautiful and extremely important ecosystem burning at an alarming rate did not raise any media coverage. We should all be heeding to the urging call of humanity to awaken. Now make no mistake, this is not new to Mother Earth. She has encountered this type of destruction before and will continue to thrive and regenerate, just not with us here if we don't start awakening to our own ability to raise our vibration to hers. One of these ways is to begin to awaken to the Life Force that beats all of our hearts. This Life Force responds to us every second of the day by the thoughts we think, the words we speak, and the emotions that we feel. I would like to tell you a miraculous story of something we can all do right now as you're reading this to help put out these fires. This incredible story comes from Scientist Gregg Braden. A New York Times Best Selling Author, Scientist, and A 2019 Templeton Prize nominee.
"Gregg Braden is a rare blend of scientist, visionary and scholar with the ability to speak to our minds while touching the wisdom of our hearts." — Deepak Chopra, M.D.
The story took place in the 1990s, in the deserts of Northern New Mexico where they were experiencing one of the worst droughts in history. Upon visiting, Gregg Braden was invited by his Native American friend into the high deserts of Northern New Mexico to share in a prayer of rain. His friend led him to an ancient stone circle that apparently is so old no one knows exactly who built it! All the stones are still laid out in their original form from the ancients. Gregg Braden witnessed his friend remove his shoes and step into the circle. He called out loud to the ancestors, honored the 4 directions, turned his back to Gregg and put his hands in a prayer position over his heart for just a few seconds. Then turned back around to Gregg and said, "I'm hungry, let's go grab a bite to eat." Bewildered, Gregg said to his friend, "I thought you were going to pray for rain!" His friend proceeded to tell him "No. Because if we prayed for rain, rain could never happen. Because the moment you pray for rain you just acknowledged that it doesn't exist in that moment." His friend continued, "When I closed my eyes I began to feel the feeling of what it feels like to have rain in our pueblo village. I smelled the smells of what it smells like when the rain falls off the earthen walls on our buildings. And I felt the feeling of what it feels like with my naked feet in the mud, there's so much mud because there's been so much rain. In that way, I open the door for the possibility to bring rain into our world." Later that afternoon the weather changed! The rain came that night and the next day and the next.
"Instead of praying for peace we pray with a feeling of peace and this allows the field to respond to us and create that." - Gregg Braden
“To create reality, focus beyond the outcome as if it has already happened.” ― Gregg Braden
You see, science is just beginning to hint at how powerful we actually are. We have reached a phenomenal time where it is increasingly evident that we are not just these physical bodies. The Life Force that beats our hearts is connected to everything within and around us. We don't need an ancient stone circle to do this, you can do it right now by closing your eyes, connecting to your breath, and tuning into the love in your heart for our home, our beautiful planet Earth. You can do this on your own or grab a group of friends and create a circle together with the same pure intention. As I feel connected to my heart I hear the sounds of heavy rainfall putting out the fires, massive rain clouds heavy and full, I hear the soil drinking up the water, I see the smoke clear, I envision the genius of the surrounding trees absorbing the water and sending it through the roots to the roots of the trees that were burned away, I envision the sigh of relief from the people and animals that call this region home. We are infinite intelligence, unlimited life force, condensed into a vibratory thought-form which we call the human body. This thought-form in which we choose to think is what creates the experiences in our lives, and in our world. You see, most of us don't ever allow ourselves to believe that we actually are that powerful. But we are and I believe all the turmoil we are seeing is our Mother telling us it's time to wake up! It is essential that we awaken to the illusion of the so-called reality we each invest ourselves in every moment, without question. We keep playing the same old movie of our past, both within our personal lives and in the history of our planet. Continuing to choose worn-out belief patterns that keep us trapped in mental slavery for lifetimes, and our planet is continuing to reflect these beliefs back to us. We need simply to be willing to take a step in the direction of being open to a reality where we (humanity) live as individualized expressions of the one life-sustaining force that beats each of our hearts. It is crucial for us to get to deeply know this place within our hearts, and rediscover the truth of who we really are and why we are here if we are ever going to truly create peace on Earth. So you tell me, please place one hand on your heart and ask yourself which thought feels better?
I am only human, limited in my ability to create the life I know I deserve. or I am infinite intelligence, unlimited life force, awake and free to be me. Forever charged with the life-sustaining power that beats my heart!
When we begin to tune into the power of our hearts we begin to awaken to the reality that we create this world around us based on how we feel and what we think about all day long. We have to get real with ourselves about how happy we really are living these lives. You deserve to be truly happy. We ALL deserve to be truly happy. So it is important that we begin deeply caring about our happiness and the happiness of those around us. It is time we understand how much of a direct impact our self-love has on every living being on our planet.
